FAQ's

If you haven't had photographs taken by a professional recently, the following frequently asked questions may help.

Please get in touch if you think of any other questions or have any bespoke requirements.

Can I have photographs taken in the comfort of my own home or at a specific location?

Absolutely. Photographs can be taken at your home as long as you have a clear area of around 3m square. Also on location or at an event, as long as you have suitable permission of the organiser or venue.

Do I have to pay for the photographs to be taken initially?

Often, photo sessions can take place with no up front payments being necessary. That way, you only buy what you like, when you see the results.

Exceptions to this may include occasions which may take several hours to photograph or may involve travelling outside the local area.

Is a deposit necessary and when do I pay?

A deposit is not usually necessary but photography involving travel, expenses or shoots at peak times may require an initial deposit fee to ensure the date is booked and held for you.

Wedding bookings require a small deposit to secure the date, with the balance required just before your big day.

Products are usually purchased after the results are viewed. You only buy the images you love!

How long before the results can be seen?

Following the shoot, the best results are carefully saved, backed up, edited and enhanced, usually within a week of being taken.

Can I view the results of our photo session on-line?

Yes. The results of all sessions are uploaded to a bespoke gallery made just for you. You can be sent a link to view your gallery with a secure password.

Can I order and pay for photographs on-line?

Yes. Just add any photographs from your on-line gallery at the size and finished required. Payment can be made at the checkout stage and your prints will be sent to you direct from one of the UK's leading and award winning professional photographic labs.

Can I order products direct, rather than online?

Certainly and there are several advantages in using this option.

Any adjustments or bespoke requirement can be made to the required images before being produced. These may include Photoshop cropping, colour, blurring, dodge, burn or punch adjustments.
They are often offer better value by ordering direct too, as no commission or additional lab production fees are involved.

What products are available to buy?

The options for displaying and storing your treasured photographs are many. Products include prints, albums, folios, digital copies, wall art, canvas art, acrylics, to name just some of the most popular.

Are images available to buy as a digital download?

Yes. They are also available to purchase as a print pack with 10 or 20 prints in a keepsake presentation box and all images on a USB memory stick. Please ask for further information if this is of interest.
